Question: What Makes A Signed Book More Valuable?

Answer: Books that are signed that are NOT personalized are actually more valuable to a collector than a book that is signed and given a personalized description. For example, a book with "To Rusty" signed David Morrell is less valuable than a book that simply has David Morrell's signature. However, if the collector's name is Rusty, that book may have added value for that particular collector. If you are going to invest money in a hardcover book, invest in a signed book that is first edition because it will maintain or appreciate in value.
