Answer: Typically businesses use Hoovers and D&B to generate leads but those sources have outdated information, incorrect email addresses, incorrect phone numbers, etc. On top of that, you can't find your perfect leads! You can't filter by AdWords spending, shopping platforms, or other technologies, and you can't dig deeper into the categories that you actually need. So what many businesses end up doing is purchasing a list of 100,000 "leads" and it turns out that maybe only 100 of them are actually people or companies that you should be talking to. You end up wasting a ton of time calling the wrong people and it isn't worth the effort.
