Question: What Is Thermography?

Answer: Thermography is digital infrared thermal imaging that creates an infrared map of the body. It is different than other screening tools because it focuses on the physiology of the body rather than anatomical changes.

The FDA approved thermography in 1982 to be used to detect early danger signs in the body, specifically for breast screening.
