Question: Is It Smart To Move My Server To The Cloud?
Answer: It depends on the business, how they use the data, how they save the data, etc. We would have to analyze the situation and determine if they would like to improve in other areas that would definitely make it worth their while. If a client wants more visibility into their network it would be more valuable to them to move to the cloud.
Other times, the client's server is outdated and they need a new server; in that situation we would ask them if it's worth it for them to buy a new server for $10,000 or to spend $500 a month for a hosted server. Of course moving to a hosted server is also beneficial because it is out of their hair and it will be updated automatically by us when needed.
