Question: How Did ZOMM Come Up With The Panic Alarm?
Answer: When we created the safe driving kit we thought why don't we add a panic button so that if someone is out in the parking lot and some woman is being accosted or somebody is bleeding out because of an injury, let's design something so that all they have to do is clinch it and hold down and it will emit a panic alarm and call 911, or 112 for anything outside of the US, and it will locate whatever 911 area you're in. So if I'm in London it will locate the closest 911 center and play a prerecorded device to them saying that the user can speak, great, if the user cannot speak, send help immediately. So to the extent that the cellphone carrier and 911 can triangulate your position, they can also send help.
